This station will be decommissioned on or around January 22, 2018.   • The Casper Monitor began operating November 2016.
  • The monitoring objective of the Casper Monitor is to characterize ambient air in populated areas near refineries.
  • The Casper Monitor is part of the Air Quality Division’s mobile monitoring fleet. The fleet consists of three (3) mobile monitoring stations which operate at chosen locations for approximately one year.
  • In response to citizen concerns and Air Quality Division data needs, the mobile monitoring fleet will be sited at each of Wyoming’s four refineries for at least one year to monitor SO2 in populated areas.
