Ozone 1 Hour Average 59 ppb
  8 Hour Average 48 ppb

The Hiawatha station is the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality's first ambient air quality monitoring station that uses renewable energy as its primary power source. The new solar/wind powered monitoring station is located 35 miles south of Rock Springs, in the Hiawatha Gas Field. The monitoring station was established to assess ambient air quality in an area of oil and gas development. The Hiawatha station includes ozone, camera system, and meteorological monitoring.
